Bamboo
One of the oldest Natural Fibre used by many cultures around the world is Bamboo. We have seen many innovations from the product and also applicable as an alternative for wood. Now the process of making Furniture by Bamboo has involved and is one of the fast-moving products around the Country.
The steps followed in hollow casting process is given below:

- The Bamboo is dried to make the product durable.
- Then it is cut to required sizes.
- A seat without any support is prepared by cutting long and short bamboo stick.
- The ends of bamboo sticks are cut for longer pieces./span>
- Then the edges of smaller pieces are fixed to the longer one’s.
- Now the stool is prepared and polished to add a protective layer to get the glossy effect.
- Finally, the required product is produced.
Kalpana
Kalpana is one of the three children of the family. She is eldest of the three children in the family. At her younger age she stopped her education to take care of her family. She joined the training of making Bamboo Products. This training changed her life as she started to earn after the training. Her younger brother also joined this skilling program and he too has started to earn money. Now, both Kalpana and her younger brother are both the bread winners of the family.
